Yesterday (18th April) Dave Cole completed the Brighton Marathon in support of The International Day of the Dog 2010. Dave made it in 4hr 7mins! This was his first ever Marathon and we would like to thank him for choosing to support the rescue dogs at Every Chance Rescue Ltd (none profit)

Take a look at this video Dave's wife Carmen put together to show how things went for him on the day and the reason why all the pain was worth it!

Bill Barrowcliff - Dressed to the K9's Competition

Posted by Janice Fennell on March 29, 2010 at 12:03 PM Comments comments (0)

Bill Barrowcliff a Motorcycle Racing enthusiast contacted Every Chance Rescue recently with a wonderful offer.

His wife Anne had seen an article about the competition which promted him to make an offer to donate a Silver Salver for Every Chance Rescue Ltd to present to the winner of the Dressed to the K9's Competition 2010 competition being run by Dog Listener Hanne Grice's award winning pet care company  Walk the Dog

Bill (pictured below) says ' I take great pleasure in helping a good cause and donating this Silver Salver is my contribution. Over the last five years I have been sponsoring Motorbike Meetings , Club Events, one and two day and also some bigger competitions like the Thundersprint.

This is my second year sponsoring The Thundersprint, one of the biggest in the world and the highlight of 2010 for me will be presenting Trophies at this years Pre Classic TT (Sidecars) on the Isle of Man'.

Bill has agreed support 'Dressed to the K9's' every year with a new Trophy, so that means the lucky winner will be able to keep the Silver Salver for all time.

In Bill's honour, because of his kindness, we are calling the Trophy 'The Barrowcliff Trophy' and along with Bill are looking forward to seeing the winning entry. :)

'It was madness' Tania said 'but I would do it all again' and so 'Madness' became the title of the DVD she had made!

Col joked 'After years wearing a parachute in aircraft I've flown in it's the first time I have ever had to pull the cord'.

In support of IDOD Col & Tania jumped to raise money for Every Chance Rescue Ltd (none profit) who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome dogs using Jan Fennells Amichien® Bonding Method.

Tania is pictured below with Chris Southworth her Instructor, Pictures of Col will be shown soon.
