International Day of the Dog

Jan Fennell The Dog Listener is proud to endorse the 5^th IDOD on Sunday 25th of April 2010, encouraging dog owners all over the world to participate in one day of fun with their dogs.

Originally an idea formed by Jan Fennell The Dog Listener and her son Tony Knight and the first IDOD was celebrated around the world in 2006.

Whether it’s going for a picnic, having a party, jumping out of an aeroplane (not with the dogs - see our website!) or just giving your dogs an extra big fuss, IDOD is about spending quality time with our four-legged friends and appreciating the gift of dog ownership.

Over the years the money raised for dog charities worldwide has been fantastic as have some of the ideas that have made this possible.....we would love to hear how you are going to celebrate living with dogs.
